Commitment of $500K to the Yampa River Fund

The Yampa River is one of Colorado’s last remaining, mostly free-flowing rivers. The ski area, as well as local agriculture, wildlife and our community, rely on this Yampa for our economy and way of life. The Yampa River Fund supports projects that enhance water security, a healthy, flowing river, and improve river function.

“The Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation was integral in the creation of the groundbreaking Yampa River Fund. Not only did SSRC lend key guidance for the Fund’s foundational structure, it provided generous funding to seed the YRF’s ongoing activities to support the health of the Yampa River Basin.
