Through the sale of Uphill Access armbands, Steamboat Resort was able to donate$20,000 to Routt County Search and Rescue to aid with the purchase of a new rescue vehicle.
In 2021, the Steamboat Resort Environmental Fund donated $27,000 to environmental nonprofits in our community, including Colorado Water Trust, Community Ag Alliance, Friends of the Yampa and others.
SSRC donated $10,000to LiftUp in 2021 to help support the most vulnerable in our community by providing resources and financial assistance to community members in need.
In 2021 SSRC donated $10,000 to Routt County United Way and provided employees paid time off to volunteer their time to support RCUW. Employees also pledged more than $6,000 through workplace giving.
For the Winter 21/22 season, Steamboat has implemented two hybrid(Diesel-electric drive) model snowcats to reduce fuel use, CO2 emissions and air pollution (soot).
